About Us
Serene Strength Mind & Body
Serene Strength Mind & Body was founded by George Gogas and Tina Perreault-Prado in 2026. Tina and George are avid yogis and met each other taking classes at the local YMCA. They shared several things in common including: love for yoga, backgrounds in the mental health field, similar spiritual beliefs and shared mission of promoting healing. It was then they decided to become Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) and launch Serene Strength Mind & Body. They received much love, support and encouragement from those around them including their yoga community. We strive to find strength and balance at our studio and provide a community focused on self-improvement. We offer yoga classes for all levels of yogis. Including those having some hesitation or stigma of trying a yoga class. Yoga can be a deeply beneficial practice and can help with: mindfulness, grounding, self-esteem, strength, balance and more. We strive to offer a well rounded approach to wellness. At our location 5 Forest Park Drive Farmington, CT we also offer: mental health therapy, reiki, seminars, workshops/yoga courses, meditations, spa services and more. Check out our Links page for more info about other services.

George began his yoga journey after a challenging recovery from an injury playing basketball. He found great benefit in the practice for its grounding, strengthening and balancing components. This led him to becoming an instructor. He thinks yoga classes should be fun and upbeat. George also enjoys encouraging men to give yoga a try. He includes mindfulness and spirituality in his classes. Vinyasa and Hatha styles.
