George Gogas LCSW (RYT-200) has diverse experience in the mental health field. He believes we shouldn't over identify with diagnoses and focus on improving our thoughts and behaviors in the present moment. We can be more than our thoughts tell us. Paired with healthy, lifestyle choices and relationships we can live mindful and fulfilling lives. George uses his unique experience as a combat infantry veteran (Afghanistan) to relate to other: veterans, first responders, people who work/live in high stress environments. At our practice we focus on healing our mind, body and spirit. Located in Serene Strength Mind & Body yoga studio.
Happiness is our natural state. Our thoughts, feelings and emotions script our life. These are based on our past experiences and how we define ourselves. George Gogas LCSW combined his knowledge from working in the mental health field, experience as a combat veteran and honor of being a dad to found Warriors in Gardens. Our in person seminar offers a wealth of evidenced based knowledge and skills. Topics covered at our Bootcamp event are: mindfulness, assertiveness skills, communication, relationship building, ego, law of attraction. CBT, problem solving and team/community building. I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher and have helped many others on their healing journey. It is my life’s purpose to spread love and peace to those who seek it.
Although I’ve been sensitive to energies all my life, it wasn’t until my own spiritual awakening that I realized the healing power of Reiki and how it can bring us peace. After navigating through darkness and coming out empowered on the other side, I’ve become a light for others, illuminating their personal paths to heal.
Reiki is a safe and non-invasive healing method that clears energy blockages throughout the body. Reiki can help relieve physical pain, stabilize emotions, and soothe internal conflicts.
